Remembering Pearl Harbor

| December 07, 2022

In Hawaii, amid the verdant natural beauty and warm, welcoming waters, there stands a monument. The Pearl Harbor National Memorial marks the destruction of the USS Arizona, the final resting place of 1,102 soldiers who lost their lives on December 7, 1941. A total of 2,403 service members and civilians died in the attack. Pearl Harbor Day commemorates their sacrifice.

In the calm after the storm, we reflect and pay respect to lives dedicated to service. Each year, National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day marks the anniversary with a commemorative ceremony at the memorial site to ensure each grateful generation never forgets the heroism and sacrifice of that terrible day.
